How has the FreeArm Muscle benefited you and your family?

The FreeArm has helped Ari during his night time feedings. We are able to sleep much better now without being woken up because we get a no flow error from the feeding pump. Before we used the FreeArm, this would happen frequently throughout the night. It has also cut down on our milk leaks. We still have them but less often when we use the FreeArm.

Have you been able to ditch your IV pole?

I personally HATE THE MEDICINE POLE. I use his spare one for decoration now lol. I literally would bust my toes in the wee hours of the morning cutting his feed off. The FreeArm takes up no space and it is really flexible. I wish we would have had this when he was fresh out the NICU!!

Are feeds tolerated better now that you can bend the FreeArm to standardize the feed rate for gravity syringe feeds?

He seems to be less bloated after his night feedings and less reflux issues.

Has the FreeArm improved your ability to get out more?

Ari will start Pre-K this year, and if he still has his tube, I will be taking this to his school so he can sit at the table during his feedings.
